Tempeh and other beans are the perfect complement to green vegetables in healthy vegan recipes. The tempeh makes a meal out of a salad, and the greens give the body enzymes and nutrients to help break down the dense nutrients of the bean. Cookie kicks it old school, from 1987. This song was written by Chris Cerf, and I actually like the original version, made before the show’s recent nutrition obsession. 15 years later the song was remade with a guest vocal by Wyclef Jean of the Fugees, but I can’t stand the new version.
