I’m trying to lose weight. I am 5’3 and about 135 lbs i’m also 12 yrs old. I want to try and lose 20-35lbs before september.I need some tips on how to lose weight. Like an exercise plan and some healthy meals. Please help me! Thanks!
I was also looking through other yahoo questions about their weight and one answer had a site. I was this thing that tells you if you’re underwieght and stuff and it said i am at rish of becoming overweight so plz help.
For your height that weight is fine, and anything under 120 for your height is unrealistic and/or unhealthy. Just keep doing exersizes and you’ll be fine. And don’t eat junk food or fast food if you want to keep lookin good
Better yet, stick with making your own meals from scratch that way you know what exactly goes into them and don’t have to worry about Transfats or High Fructose Corn Syrup or Genetically Engineered Foods for that matter if you buy Conventional or/and Organic. Organic and whole foods are the best bet to stay in good health.
Risk of being or becoming over weight… you should talk to your doctor not rely on online weight-o-meters.
They (the doctors) can look at your Body Fat ratio vs. muscles and your regular weight. For one do you wanna be skinny now and not grow an inch later, or do you still want to keep growing? A harsh diet may turn out to stunt your growth at your age, as well as lifting weights irresponsibly. You don’t want to stay 5’3 forever do you? LOL!
Go talk to your doctor, tell your parents to schedule a visit.
My doc told me that for a female who is 5’3 (which I am too btw 5’3 and 1/2) anything that is 160 is boarder line obesity. They said that between 125 and 145 is an ideal weight for my rage of height. 150 isn’t bad per say, you’re just a bit over weight. It’s 160 and up they start to worry. Just like it’s anything under 120 they start to worry. (I asked).
I am boarder line obese. My weight fluxuaites between 155 – 175 I never seem to loose past that nor gain above 175. Either way I usually am always in the 160′s so I’m borderline obese. YOU R NOT OVER WEIGHT … I am

I just don’t try hard enough lol (I like my ice cream)
Illastic – That’s not true!!! I am Vegan, and I can go to Burger King any day (in my area of the USA) and order a Veggie Burger with no Mayo and No Cheese and it’ll still be healthier if I just made my own Veggie Patty from scratch and bought organic whole grain bread from a health food store. Along with organic lettuce.
Just because someone is Vegan or Vegetarian doesn’t mean they are healthy nor does it imply they will be skinny.
I am slightly overweight. Why? B/c I have a sweet tooth!!! I love Rice Dream and Soy Delicious, I can’t go with out my ice cream !!! LOL
Plus, I don’t have enough $$$ or time to make everything vegan from scratch and have it be organic.
So I try to make a few meals, but I will settle for the going-out-to-eat remedy for a on-the-go life (or very hungry NOW NOW NOW tyummy lol)
Take for instance I don’t know how to make Mochi so I buy it pre-made instead which is less healthy.
Plus with anything, one shouldn’t eat too much of one thing. So being vegan and eating Soy all day will take a toll. Some people just can’t give up protein like stuff or taste and again eating nothing but protein all day long even if it’s Soy or Wheat is not good for you (although the Wheat protein is a much better choice).
Fad diets are usually unhealthy. I would suggest going vegetarian/vegan — maybe not hardcore, but it will keep you away from lots of manufactured fats & sugar (plus red meat).
I’ll give you a few sites.
