Why is it so hard to find healthy food at amusement parks?

I don’t get it! There is nothing but junk food and with rides becoming more restrictive for people that are obese, shouldn’t they start offering healthy options?

I completely agree with you ! and its not just amusement parks its pretty much everywhere. Its like if you want to eat healthily you have to eat at home and it annoys me !

Now you see most of america has a higher appeal for the "junk" food……and if the restaurant owners find this to be true their going to sell this product due to Americas demand for it…..now if America didn’t "run on dunkin" and ran on the healthier alternatives we might have had veggies and healthies in the amusement parks

Imagine my friend, if they started serving salads at a stall for example, knowone would buy it. It is so hard to find healthy foods at amusement parks because the enjoyment of an unhealthy sweet treat cant hurt anyone once! And just because some big fatty comes along and buys something sweet instead of a healthier option dosent meen everyone has to.

i personally think its something to do with money with all the chemicals n stuff in the junk food it can keep a lot longer than the healthier options so the shop owners etc don’t have to buy as much stock as often

I think that when people go to an amusement park they want to have fun, and that means eating junk food along with going on rides. Part of the experience is eating food that you (hopefully) don’t eat every day. I think all of the walking you do kind of balances it all out. Many of the parks here in Orlando do have healthy options, though. Check the park maps to find them.

You can always pack a cooler in your trunk and just get a snack or treat from the park. They probably just sell what they know will move or be easily stored and prepared (less waste more money)
