			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My boyfriend and I trying to change our eating habits, and while I am content with a nice fresh salad for several of my meals, he is a meat and potato&#8217;s kind of guy. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for healthy chicken and pork recipes that would satisfy his appetite without unhealthy fats, calories and sodium. Thanks!<br />
<br />don&#8217;t trick him! I&#8217;m with the gentelemen above, turkey doesn&#8217;t make the grade at this house!<br />
Try grilling or baking/broiling foods, introduce fresh veggies at the meal&#8230; canned foods can have alot of sodium or taste bland. I&#8217;ve found balsamic vinegar on green beans or asparagus is a great alternative to the usual melted butter. Pick up some exciting herbs/spices next time you grocery shop, that will help you cut back on other flavorings that are unhealthy. Stick to clear sauces, and use as much lemon as you can! It is a natural diuretic, and can make chicken or fish taste great!</p>
<p>Also- I have found to reduce portions, making shish kabobs with a low fat marinade and baking or grilling them is a wonderful way to cut back. You can even put sliced potatoes on there next to beef and onions&#8230;. </p>

<br />Cheeseburger Pie</p>
<p>1 unbaked 9&quot; pie shell<br />
1 lb. ground beef<br />
1/2 cup tomato sauce<br />
1/3 cup chopped onion<br />
1/3 cup chopped green bell pepper<br />
1 tsp. instant beef bouillon granules<br />
3 eggs, beaten<br />
2 Tbs. flour<br />
8 slices American cheese, divided </p>
<p>Heat oven to 425. Bake pie shell for 8 minutes; remove from oven.<br />
Reduce temperature to 350 degrees. Heat a large skillet over medium<br />
heat; add beef. Cook until brown and crumbly, about 5 minutes. Add<br />
tomato sauce, onion, bell pepper, and bouillon. Cook until bouillon<br />
dissolves; remove from heat. Add eggs and flour; mix well. Tear 6<br />
cheese slices into small pieces. Stir cheese into beef mixture;<br />
spoon into pie shell. Bake pie for 25 minutes or until filling is<br />
heated through. Cut remaining cheese slices into triangles. Arrange<br />
triangles in a spoke-fashion on top of pie. Bake for about 3 minutes<br />
longer, or until cheese is melted. Cut pie into wedges. </p>
<p>VARIATION: For a delicious flavor variation, use Swiss or Provolone<br />
cheese instead of the American cheese. </p>

i know not to fry it used to but yeah<br />
dolly_peanutte.. yea i know but guess what theres nothing else to eat that tastes good. because i love animals and if could go vegitarian i would.<br />
<br />Stir fry the steak (cut them into thin pieces) or the chicken with lots of veggies, soy sauce, ginger and garlic.  Serve over rice.</p>
<p>Poach or pan sautee or grill the chicken or the steak, and serve hot on a salad greens, with a little feta cheese and dried cranberries.  Serve with a light viniagrette, or just balsamic vinegar.</p>
<p>Poach or sautee the chicken, and make a wrap with grated cheese, salsa, lettuce and avocado.  Serve with a salad or gazpacho.</p>
