			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hi. I stay in a dorm and I was wanting healthy ideas on what I could make using a skillet. My problem is that I don&#8217;t have a mini fridge so the foods I can use are limited. All I can think of is oatmeal and low sodium canned soup. Does anyone else have any other ideas?? Thanks.<br />
<br />well, i would definitely recommend getting a fridge, even a tiny one. but, for things you can make with nonperishable things, i would include other canned vegetables, tuna (to make tuna helper), mashed potatoes (instant &#8211; some types use water instead of milk), and spaghetti with sauce. there are a lot of dry mixes for rice dishes and couscous that are simple to make. also, some boxed mac + cheese is really good and decently healthy (i like annie&#8217;s). </p>
<p>if you like tofu, some brands don&#8217;t require refrigeration, and you can use that in asian-style dishes.</p>
<p>hope that helps&#8230; just make sure you&#8217;re staying healthy (a multivitamin might be a good idea). i lived in the dorms for 2 years, so i feel your pain.</p>
