i always try to eat healthily but i always end up eating junk. i can’t help myself! however i do A LOT of physical activity and would not concider myself fat but i am not that comfortable in a bikini and would like to just flatten out my stomache a bit! does any one have any easy diets to follow or easy ways to eat healthily????
Most unhealthy foods have been chemically engineered to taste good so you choose them over other foods. Sticking to a healthy diet wont be easy until you get used to it, you need to use your own willpower to overcome this one.
I’m starting to eat healthier and exercising but every now and then my family orders food and ask me what I want, but I don’t know. We usually get Swiss Chalet, chinese food, or Quiznos. When I hangout with my friends, we usually go out to eat and I’m not sure about that either. I don’t want to be left out. I just want to know what healthy fast food restaurants are out there, besides Subway.
Discipline thats all it takes. If you dont want to be left out, take a fruit with you. Drink water and just enjoy their company and just think of your goal after you be happy you didnt eat all the yucky processed food that will usually take hours and hours of extreme exercise to burn.

Here is a chicken recipe that also includes the use of popcorn as a stuffing. Imagine that. When I found it, I thought it was perfect for people like me, who just are not sure how to tell
when poultry is thoroughly cooked, but not dried out. Give this a try.
BAKED STUFFED CHICKEN
6-7 lb. Chicken
1 cup melted butter
1 cup stuffing (Pepperidge Farm is good.)
1 cup uncooked popcorn (ORVILLE REDENBACHER’S Low Fat)
Salt/pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush chicken well with melted butter, salt, and pepper. Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn. Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the
oven. Listen for the popping sounds. When the chicken’s ass
blows the oven door open and the chicken flies across the room,
it’s done.
And you thought I couldn’t cook………
Just that I am trying to lose weight and I am looking for tips on meals that are actually healthy.
Usually I would have either a pot noodle or a microwave meal so I don’t really know much about healthy meals.
I was wondering if half a can of tuna a a round of bread is healthy & please could you give me some more tips on healthy meals I could make?
Thanks x
Tuna is very good for you, although you would be better with brown bread instead of white.
I often make myself tuna pasta – with red onion and cheese.
Jacket potatoes are also quite filling and very good for you.
Trying to lose weight. I go to the gym 3 times a week and work out for 2 hours each day. But I’m trying to eat healthy. Any suggestions on small meals I can eat. My personal trainer told me it is good to eat 6 small meals a day.
Hi there,
I’m by no means a proffesional, but I take health and fitness very seriously. What your trainer told you is spot on. Each of your 6 meals should have around 400-600 calories depending on your goals. Some people even eat 7-8 meals. Personally I do 5-6, with 3 hours or so between meals. Anywho, now to answer your question. I am on the move a lot, so I try to make meals that are easily brought with me to work, such as; Dry oats and raisins, Soy nuts, Hardboiled eggs, a lot of bland bland stuff lol. You get used to it tho
Like a sample breakfast for me is two eggs, a half cup of oats, quarter cup raisins, and a scoop of whey protein. Hope this helps! Some stuff my friends do is cottage cheese, boneless skinless chicken breasts, whole wheat tortillas, and the list goes on. Good luck!
My girlfriend is 12 weeks pregnant and hasn’t really been eating healthy enough. What kind of foods should we buy that is really healthy and good for the baby and her?
just lots of fruits instead of juice. lots of water. protein, grains, etc…
I’m 15 and im at a normal weight and I have a fast metabolism so no matter how much junk I eat I dont gain weight. My problem is that because I have to cook for myself and never feel like cooking, fast food is more convenient for me. I’m kind of a vegitarian so i’m really picky with my meats. I rarely ever get any protein. In a day all I will usually eat is candy and then french fries for dinner and im completly satisfied with that but everyone tells me if I continue to eat that way I’ll be lucky to make it to 25. I know I need to eat healthy but I cant stick with that for more then a day. What should I do? I have no one to motivate me and keep me on track of eating healthy so I will give in to junk.
I am aware that I make poor choices when it comes to eating so I am trying to change my ways and eat healthier.
I used to be like you. I had a lot of junk food everyday and usually ate nothing healthy. Try eating fruits, grains, beans, vegetables and possibly meat if you can. Take multivitamins daily as well. If you can’t stand think about your health. That’s what I did.
I am trying to be healthy and loose about a stone.
However, my current student super noodle diet does not seem the way forward.
What real, healthy food can I cook eat that is relatively cheap?
I can cook proper food like chilli and things but because everything comes in bulk it is hard to just make enough for one person.
Any ideas?
Hi
Good luck with your weight loss and you’re right super noodles are not great when trying to lose weight.
Beans on wholemeal toast is cheap and healthy, one of my absolute favorite breakfasts!
My main bit of advice to you is (if you can) make stuff in bulk buy some little storage boxes and freeze individual portions for later. This reduces the cost (the ingredients are cheaper in bulk as you so rightly pointed out), it’s also quicker for when you can’t be bothered\are too busy to cook a meal and reduces the risk of you resorting to takeaway or super noodles (a big risk, I know being a student myself). Things like chilli, pasta bakes etc are great for freezing and eating later.
My other advice would be make your own packed lunch because it’s cheaper than canteen food and add in fresh fruit and vegetable sticks for snacking on.
Hope that helps a little.
